My art is an exploration of my Hispanic, Basque and Taino Indian Heritage, traditions and history. I share this freely with anyone who would exhibit it and use it to foster a cultural exchange and to initiate a positive educative process that in the end creates a cultural foundation for all Hispanic children who would come after me.

My inability to perceive primary colors has given birth to a strange new artistic science that has given form to my new genre, Hyper Visualism.  My intent isn't to create images that are photo realistic. My aim is to create images that are instead photo intense.

I realize that I am an artist, poet, photographer that has something unique to offer and what I mean to share with the viewer is a unique window into how a color deficient artist perceives the beauty within his world.

Hyper Visualism is charged with symbolism that arises from my rich Taino Indian heritage. It is said that it borders on the realm of the dreamscape. It also has been said at exhibitions that the art is a pleasure to look at, that it contains a quiet spirituality.
